Over the past two months, we’ve had the privilege of introducing Sikhs in Rail across various EDI forums, sparking meaningful conversations around identity, representation, and understanding. One of the most common and thoughtful questions we’ve encountered is:“Sikhism is an Eastern religion with a teacher-student tradition—so who is the ‘Guru,’ and what does that mean for Sikhs?”


Following our successful joint event with Transport for London at Barking Gurdwara, we’re excited to announce our next Lunchtime “Lunch & Learn” session, which will explore exactly that.


In this session, we’ll break down the concept of the Guru in Sikhism in a simple, clear and accessible way—perfect for those curious to learn more about Sikh beliefs and culture, regardless of background.
